MBAN Executive Team

The daily operations of the association are managed by an Chief Executive Officer and a Senior Manager. The current Chief Executive Officer for MBAN is Ms. Tricia Ann Francis whose role is to provide overall management and execution of initiatives decided by the Council in a manner consistent with the objectives of the association. Ms. Dalia Diyana Ruslan assists the Chief Executive Officer by acting as the primary liaison for all membership related matters, coordination with partners and the Secretariat and Cradle’s Angel Tax Incentive Office (ATIO).

Tricia has over 20 years of diverse work experience in both the For-Profit and Social Sectors. Passionate about serving others, she has dedicated her career to helping organisations and individuals realise their ideas and deliver social and economic value to society. With a focus on the entrepreneurship sector, Tricia has worked on numerous local, regional, and international projects and programs to foster the growth of entrepreneurs and influence national policy. Currently serving as the CEO of the Malaysian Business Angel Network, she oversees the day-to-day management of the association. Tricia holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland and is also a business and farm owner, providing livelihoods to migrant and marginalised fishing communities.

Dalia has over 14 years of experience in impactful programme management across various fields. Her expertise in programme management, communication, reporting, and event strategizing has contributed to the success of high-level entrepreneurship and community development projects. Dalia has played key roles in initiatives such as the eUsahawan Levelup Programme, Cradle Fund's Coach & Grow Investment Readiness Programme, and MaGIC's Global Accelerator Programme. She has also worked on fast-paced and confidential projects including Project SMART for Agensi Anti Dadah Kebangsaan and a Harm Reduction Study sponsored by the World Bank for the Governments of Maldives and Bangladesh.
